I have test the new version with the PDA: There are no more console popups! :)
But I must have a loose contact in the Serial-to-iPaq-Adapter or the port to the iPaq itself. Sometimes there ist no update on the displayed gauges on the screen. If I tap on the screen to go to the main menu and tap on "Show Gauges" again then the gauges are shown the actual values as usal without manually reconnecting to the ECU. With my notebook I don't have this issue so the logging and the displayed gauges works stable.

perhaps this is linked to the popups you used to get? the popups would have only been on an unusal error. is it possible that when you got the popups, you would have had to tap the screen then show gauges again for it to work?

unfortunately some of these weird errors may be hard to work out or fix before i change to .net 2.0 and clean it up a bit

Yes, when the popup comes I have to go to the main menu und tap show gauges again. So I think it was all the time a loose contact and I don't recognize it because in the past I allways tested with the PDA and not with the PDA AND the Notebook. :tot:

Thats true. It is very hard to find such errors from the distance but I make my best to help.
I hope .net 2.0 is available for WM2003. My PDA has only WM2003 and is not upgradable to WM5 nor WM6.
