ill be getting back to work on it after i finish uni at start of july. getting the bit registers working isnt all that important, compared to other things (eg active tests, and making it reconnect automatically whenever u turn car on/off so u dont have to cancel gauges then reconnect and show gauges again)

Oh you are right. That is an issue that I have too. Sometimes the gauges don't update anymore and I have to go to the Mainscreen und click "Show Gauges" again, but without reconnecting.

... and active Tests would be really nice too! :D

I am now also working on my thesis to complete the studies. I will be finish in July/August too. :ja:
I wish you luck with your uni work!

http://www.ecutalk.com/downloads/ECUTal ... 3_beta.exe

auto-reconnect when connection is lost when viewing gauges/logging

added some new calculated sensors:
1) distance...requires speed
2) fuel used...requires injector, rpm
3) trip fuel economy...requires injector, rpm, speed

but i need help testing them as i dont have a car at the moment so i cant try them myself (i tried the auto-reconnect on my desktop with ecu and it seems to work ok)

maybe hold off testing it - there is a bug which means new sensors dont work on pocket pc (you can test the "reconnect" feature though, just dont select the blank sensors).

will post back when ive got fixed beta up

should be fixed, i hope :)

Note you will need RPM, Injector and Speed to be at least logging (or shown on gauges) for these new sensors to work

Ok. New Version ist downloaded.
I will log all available sensors during the tests, so I think I don't forget an important one.

After work I test and then post the results. :ja:

thx. Martin
